In d home my daughter Simone ask for godi, wen she wants to be sure of my affection...now gaurav is in Japan..she wants to stay close to Mom, but wen I explain her ..mumma tiered she understands..
She very cutely says 'Mumma Gaudi aayi', I explain her..Godi is not susu-potty jo aayi..u shud say, godi aana hai
Though mostly I honour her request for Godi. In Japan simone again became used to of 'Pram' we need to give a sitting pram to kids over 1 year..they themselves realise that pram is a better n more comfortable option.
I many a times carry simone on my side waste.like african style, only thing is I dnt tie her..mostly on airports n malls...I didnt come across anyone staring at me..or may be I'm not at all bothered n fail to notice

..Kavita..u carry your baby d way u & baby r comfortable..if anyone stares at u..dnt bother..or tell them..to carry ahana for you..

then they will understand..
By carrier u mean snuggly? yaar your shoulders will ache a lot..wid baby's weight..I never carried simone post 9 months in snuggly.
